Dr. Azza Gadir, PhD is an immunologist who completed her postdoctoral training at Harvard Medical School / Boston Children’s Hospital. Her published research is focused on the role of the gut microbiome in protecting against diseases early in life. For this work, she holds issued and pending patents and has collaborated with industry partners to accelerate the discovery of microbiome-related immunotherapies. Azza currently serves as the Director of Research and Development at Seed Health. She grew up in London and received her PhD at 26 from University College London.
*CORRECTION*: We mention that Sweden had the lowest gdp as a result of their COVID-19 no-lockdown policy compared to other Nordic countries, however this was the case in Q2 2020 before they put restrictions in place (Sweden's GDP slumped 8.6% in Q2 more sharply than its neighbours). Read more here.
